Position Overview

Software engineer - backend/infrastructure build the platform that supports Culminate's functionality, in particular our AI SOC Analyst. As a member of our core backend team, you'll join us in inventing many new paradigm to run the world's most advanced AI agent.

Key Responsibilities

• Code quickly with high quality using primarily Go, and/or Python
• Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of our entire software stack
• Design flexible systems that can reliably handle hundreds of external SaaS tools so that incremental engineering effort on adding new tools is minimal

Qualifications

• 5+ yrs experience designing, building, and owning large distributed systems
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
• Professional experience in either Go, Python or other relevant coding languages
• Professional experience building large-scale infrastructure applications or similar experience
• Professional experience designing, analyzing and improving efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources
• Professional extensive experience profiling, debugging, and performance tuning complex distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with one or more distributed systems technologies, such as…
  • Data processing (Kafka, Snowflake, ETL, Stream Processing, ...)
  • SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, Mongo, DynamoDB…)
  • Cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, AWS/GCP/Azure, …)
